Wolin National Park
Międzyzdroje, Poland
A coastal park on Wolin island with steep Baltic cliffs, beech forest and a sandy beach below. Marked trails lead to viewpoints above the sea; come outside midsummer weekends for quieter paths, and wear shoes with grip after rain.
Wolin National Park, founded on 3 March 1960, protects an area of about 109 km² on the Baltic island of Wolin. It is known for its sea cliffs, beech forests and beach. Among the higher points is Gosań, at just over 93 m, with a viewpoint; Kawcza Góra offers a view over the Baltic and can be reached by steps from the beach at Międzyzdroje.
