Lake Pukaki Lookout
Twizel, New Zealand
A roadside lookout at the southern end of Lake Pukaki where glacial flour turns the water an opaque turquoise, with Aoraki/Mount Cook framed at the far end. There is a car park and café beside it; it is busy at midday, so late afternoon often gives better light.
