A building on Sopot's main street whose walls and roof seem to melt and wave, inspired by illustrations of fairy tales. A fun photo stop between the pier and the old town; it holds shops and restaurants, so it is easy to stay for coffee.

The Krzywy Domek ("Crooked House") in Sopot was built in 2004 and forms part of the Rezydent shopping centre. The architects Szotyńscy & Zaleski took inspiration from the fairy-tale illustrations of the Polish artist Jan Marcin Szancer and the Swedish artist Per Dahlberg. The building has an area of about 4,000 m² and several entrances, including from Monte Cassino Street and Morska Street.

Its distorted façade with an undulating roof is a popular photo subject and stands on the promenade, so a short stop combines well with a walk to the pier and the old town. Allow 15 to 30 minutes for a visit. For photos without crowds, come early in the day.
